So I have a VDSL connection with the stock HG659b modem in bridge mode to my Nighthawk R7000p running DD-WRT but can get a connection.

I have followed the instructions from Spark (https://www.spark.co.nz/help/internet-data/equipment/huawei/hg659-gateway/setup-bridge-mode-huawei-hg659-hg659b/) and setup the PPPoE credentials like so:

And then it says to "Turn off VLAN and 801.2Q" but I cant find either of thoes options in DDWRT.

Does anyone know how to get get a bridged Spark VDSL connection working on DDWRT?

ok thanks.

Am I even reading the right instructions? => https://www.spark.co.nz/help/internet-data/equipment/huawei/hg659-gateway/setup-bridge-mode-huawei-hg659-hg659b/ as it says to turn off VLAN and 802.1P:

Configure the WAN connection settings on your 3rd party router:

  • PPPOE username: user@xtrabb.co.nz
  • Password: password
  • Turn off VLAN and 802.1P

Is this the right way to set VLAN 10 up?
