MMS messages have stopped working for me in the last few months. Zero changes my end.

Used to work perfectly fine, then some days, pictures took ages to send, upwards of 5-6 minutes. Also had a day trip in Auckland and I couldn't send any. As soon as I landed back in Christchurch, they worked.

Now, they won't send or receive at all. I get the text to say I've received a MMS message etc but they don't download (Have wifi off etc).

Device is a Galaxy Note 8 but I'm pretty much 100% sure it's Sparks end not mine as I've made zero changes my end and they used to work, I've confirmed the MMS APN settings and have also re-installed the configuration message you receive when joining Spark.

Zero issues with anything else, just MMS.

Ideas?

I'm not saying it it doesn't work on Spark, I'm saying in my case I believe it's Sparks end - as mentioned in my post

From my (admittedly limited) experience with mobile phone settings, its usually the APN settings that cause screw ups.

Assuming you do have those set up correctly, what txt program are you using?

Try clearing the cache/data on the message app and restest.

I see its a Samsung phone so probably the default Samsung message app - perhaps try switching to the google message app and see if that helps?

Have you spoken to the support team at all?

Testing it here, MMS is going to my other device happily, so Spark's network seems ok to me.

@hio77 Yeh - friends & family don't seem to have an issue, not saying it's a wide spread Spark issue, but more Sparks end but just for my account or something?

I went into a spark store and the dude seemed to have no clue or care and proceeded to give me 1GB of data each month for a year as a 'sorry'..

It used to work perfectly then all of a sudden stopped, with no changes on my end. Have even confirmed with a Wireshark type trace that it's talking out the correct APN settings etc, just failed to send the MMS and fails to download a received one.
