I am trying to find an accurate site with NZ cell site locations as approved by MED etc. The site i have seen was hopeless. I am hoping to use this to map out locations of cells for some future work and so far apart from locating myself its pretty hard to find them.

I have a google maps file of Voda sites from a year or so ago but nothing with Telecom / Voda & NZ Comms.

Any ideas???

I have in the past, only showed vague info on Vodafone. I really want accurate info. I know networks are cagey but reality is the public are entitled to know where sites are, i am using this for a person project. Ok i am a towerspotter but at least having GPS co ordinates would be better than nothing.

The MED website has everything - either using the online SMART database or the Prism extract.

Go to http://spectrumonline.med.govt.nz/
Do a licence search for your district, and cellphone frequency range. Click search and it will give you mapping locations - Gps too i think

Thanks i have used this site, great has helped almost locate most sites and mark them in Google earth but there are alot of new and existing CDMA sites that are not shown or listed.

Having the ability to see 2100 sites as well as all of the paid for w850 sites is handy also. its a big project, i will end upo doing all 3 networks over time, Telecom first and NZ Comms and then add to Vodafones which i already have thanks to a contact.
