So my fibre has been down since 9.10pm. There is a generic message on the spark outages page saying that Auckland users may be affected. GPON is fine just not authenticating from what I can see. How wide spread is this? Yes, have been waiting for support last 40mins.

We’re on Spark in Pokeno, not working here since about 9.10 either.

Affecting me in central/eastern Auckland. Prompted me to restart everything - which ruined my 4 year uptime on my edgerouter! 🤣 only to then see the outage pop up.

Gave up sitting on hold after 20mins and the outage message being posted.

Just seen several threads on reddit. Seem quite wide spread in Auckland. I’m in Titirangi.

I hope it doesn't spread. Still working here. Should I run a bit of Cat6 up to you? Guest WiFi password?

About a 200m run you reckon?

A little shorter if I string across rooftops.

One comment on Reddit mentions that they were down but next door was fine. Weird

I didn't notice any outage, and I'm using Spark Fibre (on the Shore).

@quickymart clearly you were outside of the outage area

@Linux clearly you haven't read the posts and seen that the outage area was quite wide, and apparently was rather selective. In some cases one person was affected and their neighbour, also on Spark, was not. I did see a comment elsewhere from someone in Glenfield that was affected. @quickymart may have neighbours who were affected. There doesn't appear to be a clear definition of what the affected area actually was, at least not that I've been able to find.
