Been trying to opt out of Port 25 blocking, but the portal is giving me a error message, is it possible with Big Time?

Still have a server at home and was going to do a dodgy and run it on DDNS/SMTP one step above doing the POP3 Connector in SBS.

Cant you just put something on the machine you are sending to that listens on another port?

Opting out of Port 25 blocking is for inbound traffic as well as outbound. I can set my server to send via smtp.xtra.co.nz but no SMTP traffic can get to my server if port 25 inbound is blocked by Xtra.

The question is will they do it on the Big Time plan? They should... or so I reckon :)!

Have you tried the new yahoo based mail server which uses SSL and different ports besides 25 for smtp traffic.
