I rung up the prepay help desk yesterday at around 4:30pm and requested that the credit from a XT number be transfered to a CDMA number and that  that XT number be disconnected so I could transfer my CDMA number over to the sim card.

I was told this should be all completed within 4 hours. come 8:30 the XT number nolonger worked but the credit from it had not be transfered so I thought this must take a bit longer.

Come 11am this morning my cdma phone is still active but without the credit from the disconnected XT number.

I was just hung up on by someone in the Philippines when enquiring about the iPhone offer... The guy seemed really unsure as to what I was asking, told me he'd go and find out for me, and then just hung up!

Don't worry, Last month when I rung up about my brothers phone (iphone 3g) I was directly told that the iphone 3g will not work on Telecom's XT network they then hung up.

so I'm taking its not uncommon thing.

During one of my dozen redirections to overseas while trying to get my plan corrected over the past week, they tried to transfer me (again) at one point and then got disconnected.. but that sounded accidental.. it happens.

Sorry to hear about your problems. I can relate. :( I'm just glad my service is finally working. I wish I went with Vodafone now..

After ringing them again earlier today, I spoke to someone who was overwhelmingly helpful and got me sorted.
