I was just looking at Vodafone AU's website, at their prepay FlexiCaps.
Would it be completely absurd for me to think that Telecoms Prepay plan is somewhat similar to Vodafone AU's scheme?
As an example of what I mean:
If you pay $29 with Vodafone AU, you get $150.00 Flexi credit (which I assume means calling etc outside the Vodafone Network) + $150.00 Vodafone to Vodafone credit, totaling $300 worth of credit.
With Telecom NZ, if you pay $20 for a top up, you get the $20 + an extra $5 credit.
Obviously Telecom's one is more simplistically put, and of course you aren't getting the same amount of credit or whatever you would like to call it.
But if I am right in thinking they are similar, Does anyone here think that this could possibly become the norm here in NZ and expand into something bigger like in AU? or do you think this would just be confined to the prepay market and stay the same as what we already have?
