Folks, there's someone on Twitter who doesn't know better and is currently on a harassment campaign against Telecom employees.

The tweets are of a personal nature (including comments on female employees and of a sexual nature), highly NSFW.

While I firmly support people criticising a company, I think it's wrong to make it personal and go on employees and their personal lives. I also think it's wrong to make it behind anonymous comments.

If you are a Twitter user, could you please visit http://twitter.com/deadcaseyjohnsn and click the REPORT SPAM link?

Note I am not giving a link here because that page doesn't need Google juice. Also note all tweets are highly NSFW - even the mild ones.

I blocked that account a couple of days ago when watching the TelecomNZ Twitter search stream for updates on the XT outage. I didn't think they are specifically targeting TelecomNZ as there was a lot of hate for other people too. Crazy!

We understand the anger and frustration about network issues but when people turn this into personal attacks on the staffeveryone knows it is not right.

Please support my colleagues by reporting this person as SPAM so that they get shutdown.

The comments are disgusting. Apparently they don't like us at iPhonewzealand either (although not nearly as bad as the stuff said about Telecom)........

I did this a few days ago when this ratbag first came to my attention and did it again today. I have also lodged a support ticket to twitter seeing as the tweets appear to make threats - which is another way of getting scum like this shutdown. I'd print his timeline and hand it over to the police.

Why hasn't twitter pulled the account already. They should be actively doing something about that sort of behaviour. They should have a report button for abuse too, which should be actioned by twitter staff as soon as it is reported. The person has been doing this for days.
