My father has been a Telecom Mobile customer about 14 years, he had a call about a year ago from a rep to ask him if he wanted to change plans, he said "No thanks, I'm happy on this one" so unbeknown to my father the rep signed him up for another 2 years on the same plan.. He didn't know this until the other day when he switched to Vodafone and recived a $300 bill from TC for early termination. He called up Telecom and got nowhere.. He didn't even recieve a handset upgrade or any account credit for "Re-Signing" a year ago. So it didn't benefit him one bit to do it, so why would he want to?

Consumers must be aware of the terms of the resign and obviously my father wasn't so we are going to fight this, he has paid the bill because he didn't want it to affect his credit rating but we want it back. any ideas on who we should contact? and what are your thoughts on this?

Great, Thanks. I'll wait and see if someone on here that works for TC can help me out, otherwise I will contact TDR.
