Page seems to be loading properly now, it was utterly mangled after my first post.

Geekzone is also sluggish.

Copy/paste in the OP left an open tag. That's why this page wasn't loading properly.

We have two networks that share the load. The Vetta DDoS will impact part of the access. Cloudflare should failover automatically but the health checks return ok intermittently because the network is up and down, with reduced capacity.

I am manually switching all traffic to the other provider.

Can confirm that the attack towards Vetta has impacted Geekzone's connectivity.

While it should be automatic, we've manually shifted Geekzone traffic over to the secondary connection so it doesn't keep flapping between the 2.

Late to the party, but I’ve also been having trouble logging in on my iPad Air lately (I know—it’s an Apple bug—but for me, it’s happening with the Brave browser. Safari seems to be somehow involved in the mix, though).

I’m getting server timeouts that point to Cloudflare. Sometimes I also just get kicked out—either in the middle of a session or while trying to post. The Cloudflare pre-check is sometimes repeated after my login though I dutifully checked the box confirming that I am a human before. 😁

edit: although I just received an error message, the post was accepted nonetheless. However, a timeout was reported.

thousandeyes.com currently reports no anomalies either in NZ.

Yes. I also saw this issue many times where the page just says that the connection has been dropped, then I have to refresh again.

That's because, behind the scenes, every browser on iOS is Safari. There aren't different browser engines; they are just skins. The Safari bug affects all browsers.

@Tinkerisk:

As per earlier in the thread, we use two network connections, and one was under heavy, hours-long DDoS. Cloudflare wouldn't just switch to the other all the time because the network would intermittently return OK. At some point, I manually turned it off for the duration of the DDoS.

Maybe late as well, but noticed web page visit the first time simply fails within a second. Refresh the page, comes good.

Please, please, please.

When reporting something remember to mention at least the browser and OS. Our crystal ball is broken.
