I remember Telecom's forthcoming WCDMA network being a factor; I probably wanted to ask a couple of questions. No fancy story like some of the ones above tongue-out

thanks for the tip-off.... i am ever-hopeful that they will at least bring DVB-S and MHEG support into MCE, but i won't be holding my breath

LOL. Well, we got DVB-S no problem, but the MHEG support never really appeared :P

Found Geekzone when I was trying to find what was the best ISP for family here in NZ (and having to fight with Orcon for them), and from the discussions I recommended them to go with Snap (Which worked a charm).

Then I used Geekzone to do my research before moving to NZ myself. The help I got on the forums have been of big help in moving here! Thanks Mauricio and everyone else here for creating such a great community. I have not experienced anything like it in my many years on the net. (and I have been an active netizen since 1993).

A bit of lurking then Vodafone stuffed up my house move. Fortunately it was Paul Brislen to the rescue back then.

Good times...

Looking for a New Zealand based website where and I came across this website, saw that it pretty cool then decided to sign up and here I am almost 6 years later - one of the few websites I've stuck with for so long.

Google also brought me here. I then discovered what a treasure trove of information this place was and it became a major part of my recreational reading. Whenever I have a question I ask it here and I almost always get the answer. It is a wonderful resource and a great place to hang out.

Lurked for years so thought I may as well start posting. A Google search for Vodafone's internet settings was the thing that initially brought me here.

I use to write a epg scrapper for NZ back in the day (around 2004), and geekzone often came up in relation to that.  now days I just stream everything :)

It was nearly 12 years ago. I can't remember back that far.
