I remember googling for information about home networking, LANs, etc years ago now and GZ came up high in the search results.

I found a lot of useful info on the aforementioned subjects plus other interesting topics so I decided to register as a user.

I joined in 2008 when I was working as a Mac bench tech. Forums proved very valuable for ideas and help.
I've not been employed in a technology related job for a few years now but I follow tech closely and read the forums daily.

Cheers,
Joseph

In 2005 I was trying to fix a mates laptop which was exhibiting some strange behaviour. Uncle Google led me here.

Building a HTPC got me started here via a Google search. Funny thing is though, years later I hardly ever visit the HTPC forum. Such is the fickle world of tech. Nothing to see here, move along.

I couldn't stand the troll posts by 12 year olds on GP forums. Especially ones that misspell "your", "you're" "they're", "there", "their"

I really can't remember back that far. Geekzone was a little smaller back then. Probably tripped over the place on my way to get lunch.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.
