just because the corporate world still uses ie6 doesn't mean microsoft supports it. lol. by the way, my dad works in an office and they get new laptops every 2 years and his company laptops are using ie7 at the moment so not all corporates on are ie6.
if you don't believe ie6 is worth ditching then read the explanation from microsoft on why you should upgrade to ie7:
http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/a426bb85-708c-4b75-87e2-874f9be3b4aa1033.mspx
by the way , if your thinking of using ie6 on windows vista, bad luck, ie6 won't run on vista.

by the way, microsoft no longer support ie6.
Says who? Certainly not Microsoft.
IE6 is still used extensively in the corporate world and will continute to be used for quite some time into the future. Your ideas of perceived security risks and how the real world actually operates are quite different to reality.
