Anyone else travelling from Hamilton (or through Hamilton) to the Auckland event and got a spare seat? ( I have a car but I hate driving around central Auckland with something approaching religious fervor, plus I want to drink :-))

Phew, a close call. The Blues are playing "AWAY" (Crusaders) on the 6th March. I can still go.

Just a note folks...

In previous years we had people who signed up for the pizza with us but didn't show up.

This is unfair, because other people could have been present, and we pay for the catering - regardless if you are there or not.

We don't charge for your presence at the evening, but we will automatically blacklist from future events anyone who signs up and does not show up. If you can't or don't want to make it then let me know so other person can attend.

Who are going to stay at Hotel SO for Christchurch (20th March) GZPE2010? Either PM me or post back on here, then I'll gather the list and will talk to Hotel SO to see if they can do a welcome sign for us all, or even arrange to have us all house on the same floor or nearby.

I'd imagine I'll need your GZ username and name used for room booking, so they can perhaps arrange or group our rooms nearby.

Very well done. Have you booked a large van to ship prizes to each event?

No, but I think I will have to pay excess on my Air New Zealand flights...

So the odds of NOT getting a prize are what? 1000000 to 1? :D

That Walkman A840 is one sleek piece of kit!

It's great that there are so many generous sponsors out there for this event!! Thank you the sponsors!

ETA: Oh and freitasm - it might be easier (and CHEAPER!) to courier a box load of prizes ahead... feel free to send it all to me Cool

I am going to the Wellington event on the 13 Sat, Feb.
Anyone who would like my company, can call me on 236 8054, in the afternoon only please.
I'm not a big drinker, so I'll be driving there.
