It is time to start planning for our Geekzone Freeview Pizza evening events around the country again!

Premiere sponsors:

Dinner: Freeview is sponsoring the pizza in all our events.

Drinks: Telecom New Zealand is the main drinks sponsor in all our events.

Travel: Air New Zealand is sponsoring flights (giveaway here).


Venues and dates:

Wellington: 13th February 2010 (Flickr photos)
Auckland: 6th March 2010
Christchurch: 20th March 2010

The registration process:

- Geekzone subscribers can register now.

- First wave on 12th January 2010 12pm for people who replied or "watched" this thread. I will send a reminder email to everyone in the list on the 11th January. This will be limited to 35 registrations.

- Second wave on 14th January 2010 open to all other users who registered on Geekzone before 1st January 2010 and have at least two posts, with a limit of 50 registrations (first wave and second wave total).

- Third wave on 15th January 2010 open to all other users with a limit of 60 registrations (total).

Each event is limited to to 60 people. Food and drinks will be provided by our kind sponsors. You must be at least at the legal drinking age to attend these events.

Partners and friends can attend but we will charge a nominal fee to cover the costs (this is the same as in previous years).

Looks like I might only do Wellington, would have been good to do chch again (atleast), but I will be in Auckland on the 13th...so not sure about financials

Good question - as before you must be of legal drinking age since there will be drinks in the venue.

The usual is... you have to be at least 18 years old, due to the availability of alcohol consumption and Geekzone members are not responsible for any minor.
