Just signed and found it real easy to setup. Seems to be working well so far and will continue to have a play.

Thanks for everyone who is testing out the system for Geekzone and us!

We've made some changes to subscriptions on the backend, as well as updated how your subscription information is displayed in your account settings.  Please let me know if you notice any issues, or if you have feedback on the display of subscription information.

Looks good.

Going forward once the paid option kicks in, will I be able to see what websites my subscription went to, maybe with percentage figures if the dollar amount is commercially sensitive (e.g. 75% of my subscription revenue went to GZ)?

By the way, what's "Episub"?

On the home page:

Supports Creators

Episub offers a sustainable alternative to advertising revenue that gives something to both the visitors and the creators. Best of all, you are the customer!

Woops, thanks for that!  Fixed.  Episub is an old name/name for the parent.

Yes, I think it is very important to give you this kind of feedback.  We will try to have this available soon after the paid option goes live, ideally before the end of that first month.

I know how that goes. There's another stray one in the copyright statement in the footer.

That one is as it should be, since Webpass.io belongs to Episub.

We are currently testing this on Geekzone only (not Geekzone Live).

Fairy Nuff :) It is not like the single ad on Live is really a bother.

I've changed the code so everyone who uses webpass.io during our tests will get the Beta Testers badge.

If this depends on header info, would it not be easy to hack by those looking for a free ride? I think for example of Proxomitron, very old but still good at spoofing exactly that kind of thing.

It is more than that. Each request is a unique key and our server validates it before sending content out.

You can send whatever value for the header field you please.  If it's not unique, then partnering sites will not recognise you.  If it's unique, everything will work as it should.  If you do notice any flaws, please be sure to let us know.

Seems pretty significantly faster for me. Quick and easy to setup too. I like it.
