freitasm:
Hervard: What's the door fee for non-Geekzone members?

The event is not open to non-Geekzone members. If you bring a partner then it's $25 but you have to let us know in advance so we can confirm numbers.

Are thr any spots left for this weekends event?

Well since I dinged my car today and its off at a tow yard I will be catching a "bus" - it has been a while since I caught one.

And since I dont need to be not drunk to use a bus it works out ok I guess.

Anyone coming back via the shore afterwards? That looks to be the tricky end of things.

not be drunk to use a bus...  ?! hey, I thought that is the bonus of using a bus! You don't have to be sober on it as you're not driving ;)

there should be a night rider to get back home to the shore? as when I lived in south auckland I would catch a night rider home, I'll check the timetables when I go downtown tonight

Yeah, i tried the website they have but it was telling me about all these options and crap. I just want to know how late I can leave the city and still get a bus.

I know the starmarts on queen st have dead tree copies of the timetables so I'll take a look at one

man, the bus site is an example of UI experience FAIL!

they've even gone BACKWARDS from what they had a few years ago

I think ~11pm is when the last buses go, or there might be one of the night buses at 1 or 2am (if they go your way?)

Doesent look it. Thought i was sweet but was looking at 1pm not am. I hate the 12 hour clock. it shouldbe BANNISHED....

No chance of a new car as a prize at pizza evening, that would be really handy since my spare car just goes around and doesnt start... Might be the battery so am charging it. Hope it works. I have crap to pickup tomorrow.

Yeah, that maxx website is really bad at trying to plan things. First it seems that Auckland City isnt a place it understands, and I have to tell it when I want to leave, I cant just seem to find all the options, Only gives me a few, but it looks like there is nothing between 11:something and 6: something the next day.

just had a ride with sbiddle on his BiddleCorp private jet to AKL airport, then on his BiddleCorp private limo to CBD and we checked into the permanent BiddleCorp presidential suites...

Had lunch and now relaxing before heading out.
