Thanks to everyone for a great night as well - it was great to get to put so many faces to names! Thanks also to DTV Solutions for my great Freeview decoder (yes, another member of the lucky table here!)

We have one person pulling off the Christchurch event - and our waiting list for that night is now empty. If anyone wants to get in to CHC now is the time. Send me a PM.

It's happening! After some timing problems that prevented us having those at previous events we managed with DB to get a couple of those Monteiths kegs sent to the Christchurch event!

The idea is to promote their new site Worth Talking Over.

Does that mean we'll get the ones that missed out in WLG and AKL? More for CHC to drink and talk over then?

Perhaps we need to arrange geekzone pissup in a park outside the liquor ban area sometime before it gets too cold? :)

Unfortunately Hotel SO is within the 4-aves, unless we can smuggle the kegs into a room, and fit 20+ people into compact Hotel SO's room? *lol*

OK, gearing up for the CH event.
I'm looking at getting there around the 3-4pm mark (Bus in, taxi back Laughing  )
Anyone going from spags to the Burwood/Parklands area is welcome to share the cost of a taxi back with me if they want.

Cheers,
Tel

I was thinking that I would head into town early for a few pre-drinks. It would be cool to have a couple of quiet afternoon drinks somewhere like the Dux De Lux before heading down to Spag's, but obviously it depends on what everyone else wants to do.

Who else wants to make an early start?
