Interestingly, this is not the first time "Goodbye Geekzone" has been a topic  on Geekzone - it happened in 2008 though for different reasons. One can't please all of the people all of the time.

geek4me: Over time I saw posts asking users not to use an ad blocker on Geekzone.


I've been travelling recently and have been on a WISP that blocks all ads by default. The only reminder ads exist are the squid item blocked message!
