Hi

 

Just wondering if you could add a confirmation to the page when you arrive at the website.

 

Annoying to fail click the unsubscribe link instead of the new post link and have the subscription removed, particularity given the email doesn't actually name what was subscribed to at all.

When you click on the second link in the email, it unsubscribes without any user confirmation.

 

Also check your PM...

I actually did it the way I like unsubscribes: do it. No questions asked.

 

It is always easy to resubscribe: click the first link in the email and either reply to the thread or click [WATCH TOPIC].

Tend to agree with this, I prefer a one-click unsubscribe, but I can see how OP might mistake the one link for the other.  I know it says

 

"This e-mail was sent because you are subscribed to this discussion at Geekzone. If you want to remove this notification, please click the link below: "

 

just above the link, but perhaps just some text before the link would help avoid accidentally clicking the wrong link?

 

e.g. "UNSUBSCRIBE: https://www.geekzone.co.nz/removeforums.asp?topicid=190840"

i think he wants a page that says the title of the thread you are unsubscribing from and a unsubscribe button instead of a page that just says when you click the email link:
