What a let down.

So much for "Very Soon" Time to give someone else a try.

johnr: We have heard you want plans with more data and are working on it. We'll have new plans to share with you in June

John

I have been with IHug/Vodafone for a while now and this is the first time I have thought this company is actively trying to loose market share. I always believed that this company was innovative but not any more. I never thought I would actually think Telecom would be better value and tempting to me.

I aim to misbehave.

C'mon folks... 'June' is 3 to 6 weeks away (depending on which part John is talking about). He's been good enough to say when changes will be announced.
Moaning won't make the time go any faster or improve your 'internet experience', whether or not you feel it's worth the wait.

I get what you're saying, but one could take issue with the idea that one shouldn't give voice to complaints about inadequate/insufficient/misleading customer service when one is paying a business to provide said service. Personally, I won't complain; I'll just wait for the announcement and make my decision then. The silver lining is that a month is plenty of time to shop around and weigh options.

Holy Smoke! What is with you people.. Actively trying to lose market share? Not enough bandwidth? It's a broadband plan upgrade not an oxygen supply contract, let's get some perspective. Up until the other companies mentioned they were upgrading their were no such silly commentary..

I am disappointed, by the delay, but what is the point of carrying on like this?

Deep breaths people, it's internet, not oxygen!

+1.

If people are really unhappy with the response it's not like they can't change providers. There's lots of options out there. Personally I'd like it to happen a bit faster but them's the breaks.

And thanks for letting us know what's happening John even if it's not the answer everyone's looking for.

But you aren't complaining about inadequate/insufficient/misleading customer service, you are complaining that your service provider hasn't announced it's plans (to potentially give you a FREE data allocation increase)  in a time frame you are happy with, which isn't even close to the same thing.

To correct your misapprehension, I'm not complaining at all. I merely pointed out that voicing dissatisfaction is the prerogative of customers paying for services. "Shut up or switch companies" isn't really an acceptable way of framing the situation, IMO.

Give them a brake! some one has to have the best price and plan at any one point, This week it may be T/C next Snap and the following Telecom and the next after that Vodafone.... Its life boys and girls.

Thanks for the update johnR

In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.

I can be hard, for one: some people are on one-two year contracts with Vodafone.
