Yes, the videos play back just fine with no difficulties whatsoever in the middle of the night. If the peak-hour behaviour does not improve, I'll simply switch to fibre and never look back.
I still think Vodafone's "FibreX" plans have potential, especially for their price. But Vodafone's dropped the ball again, even after investing $22 million and upgrading to DOCSIS 3.1 + D-CMTS. I wish that the cable network felt more like a viable alternative to fibre-based UFB rather than the thing that people bear with until they can get fibre installed. I know that the network and hardware are capable of so much more based on the results I was getting early on, but Vodafone seemingly has not maintained things to cope with the increased demand.
