We've lost the VOLTE logo on our phones since last week. Perhaps we are too rural.

Our RSP has been told by Vodafone that they have no stock of VoLTE capable RBI routers, with availability not until mid next year.

Really?

@colinuu I think best to start a new thread on that one

Honestly, they are probably struggling on huawei cpes.

The whole trump stuff eol'd quite a few lines.
I'm aware of a few providers who picked up extract stock because of it.

I think the VOLTE coverage map is ahead of the actual rollout. The map shows all Wairarapa towns are VOLTE capable however it doesn’t appear to be working in any yet. My device works fine on VOLTE in Upper Hutt so I don’t believe it’s a device issue.

The coverage on VoLTE changes as you zoom in and out of vodafone's map.

You're not on Atlantis anymore, Duncan Idaho.

Probably just a bug with the map. I often have issues where the overlays don't load properly when zoomed in close.

Probably no point, if @hio77 is correct. It would be helpful though if a VF member could confirm the situation.

VoLTE now live in Putaruru. If it's wide spread enough, it may be time to lock my phone to 4G only :)

timbonz:

Has anyone had VoLTE working on a HUAWEI B525 RBI modem?

I have VoLTE enabled and Network mode LTE Preferred, but the modem is dropping back from 4G to 3G during phone call (and dropping internet (data connection) at same time)

I think @cisconz has one of these working with VoLTE

Indeed I do, you need a firmware update to enable it if the VoLTE option is not working.

I will PM you a link.

My B525 RBI Modem is now working with VoLTE
Current firmware Software version: 11.191.61.04.3400_B00C1085
I had to toggled VoLTE Enabled/Disabled/Enabled resulting in IMS registration status: Registered
The best news is I can now use "Calling" without the modem dropping back to 3G (switching cell towers - resulting in) no internet for duration of call !!!!!!!

Thank you Vodafone - its only taken 12 months to fix the calling problem
