Got some complaints from the boss with sms not sending while VoLTE was enabled on his iPhone. Have turned it off and service back to normal.  He wasn't on the absolute latest FW, but 13.somethingerather (I failed to check).  Phone is now on 13.3.

Could it be, because it's not network wide, that when he's travelling to non-enabled areas SMS starts acting up?

mrgsm021:

VoLTE now coming up on my S10+ after yesterday's Android 10 update, finally!

Interestingly it does not 'come up' on an iphone - you switch it on in settings but there is no icon to show you whether you have it or not, unlike Android.

I've been in Hamilton for the past 2 days and got VoLTE logo after my phone updated this morning.

I have Samsung A8 running Android version 9.

Hello,

Sorry if this has already been answered here.
I am in New Lynn Auckland. I have a Galaxy S9+ purchased from Noel Leeming. It is running the latest software updates, Android version 9, One UI version 1, security patch level 1 Nov 2019.
I don't see the option to switch on/off Volte in connections, Mobile Network section. I have spoken to Vodafone about this and they say its all good on their side I need to speak with Samsung. Samsung customer care say I need to talk to Vodafone to get this sorted. I have also been to a vodafone shop in the mall but they seem to be more keen on selling you stuff, for this sort of a query they reffered me back to the call center. I believe the phone is registered with 2 degrees as the box has a 2 degrees scratch this freebie stuck on it. I don't see a 2 degrees logo etc when i start it. Is there a way for me to get Volte working on this phone ?

Thanks

If it's 2degrees variant, you will probably need to wait for Android 10 update before Vodafone VoLTE will work on it.

2degrees S9+ already has VoLTE enabled and you can't toggle it off and on

When i am connected to 4G it says 4G and when I make a call it falls back to 3G. Also i don't see the Volte symbol.

But I'm on the vodafone network, just have a 2D flashed phone i think, which you say has 4G enabled by default. In theory it should work for me then.

If you are on VodafoneNZ then you need VodafoneNZ software / firmware on your handset

That's the thing. Huawei has a carrier neutral firmware, I am not sure about Samsung, so that might be the case.
