So did anyone get notified of this by email after having provided One NZ your email address x years ago on their eSIM placeholder webpage?

Following the install of iOS 17.1 and Watch OS 10.1 this morning I was able to set up my One Number plan on my Apple Watch, I’m using an iPhone 15 Pro Max, and Series 8 Apple Watch.

Easy process using the Apple Watch up and away you go.

Any indication of cost for this?
I'm with 2 Degrees, but with the availability of this with One, I am looking to jump ship back to them...comparable pricing from a plan perspective - just want to know what the watch connectivity will cost me in addition to the plan.

$5 a month for my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, I believe Apple Watch is the same.

First 3 months free on OneNumber then $5/month thereafter.

Wow, that's quite a compelling offer compared to Spark's offering of $12.99 per Watch connection. And that certainly adds up when you have three connected Watch's in the household...will have a look tomorrow when the info is posted on their websites so I can compare Apples with Apples (so to speak).

Anyone else getting this error when trying to set up mobile for the watch?

(Third attempt to post this, because power's been on and off a few times while MainPower fixes line damage in the Amberley area caused by yet more wind).

I knew I shouldn't have expected the course of Watch love to run smoothly. Updated the phone (13 Pro) and Watch (Ultra 2) to 17.1/10.1 and tried to activate the Watch via Watch>Mobile, but my login failed with a “hmmm, are you sure you’re the owner of this account” and instructions to call support. So I did.

A very nice and helpful chap went round the houses with me for 20 minutes, but the best he could offer was try again on Friday after 9 am. So I will, but I suspect something else is going on.

I can log in to my account (business) via a web browser on desktop or iOS, but I can’t log in to my account via the One Business app. I’ve tried many times over the last few months, but haven’t been sufficiently bothered to sit on the phone getting it sorted. Resetting password etc doesn’t help.

With luck, when I get bounced to support tomorrow, someone will know what to do, and then I will be in Watch heaven, at last…

I had this and the amazing @maxineN had me sorted over the phone in a few minutes.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

I got the same error but assumed it would be resolved if I tried again tomorrow as it seems to have been made pretty clear that 27 October is the launch date.

Hi all

The above error is a bug and is not by design as your My One NZ account has a level of access the One Number process isn't checking correctly for.

Can those affected please email me at (maxine.nesbitt@one.nz) with your account number, full name and also contact number and I'll reach out.

Thanks

Maxine

Okay just to clarify.

Two issues present:

Are you sure you're the owner of this? (Access issue, this I can fix)

Encountered a technical issue (this is a bug and we need more examples of this), what I need is from your iPhone > Settings > General > About and then way down the bottom I would like to know your Service Provider bundle, then your Watch Model and the same account details to my email. You'll have to sit tight until this is fixed but providing the details help so I can push this to the project team.
