Hi again i just wanted to provide some more information re leaving Slingshot to come to Vodafone. I do most of my internet stuff at night gaming PS3 xbox360 youtube and from 5.30pm i would have in game lag so much so that in a game like forza motorsport 4 my car was floating above the track not pleasant for people i was racing against, also try and watch a youtube video ,forget it constant buffering then it would just freeze. All the speedtests i did indicated that the speed should be fine but the reality was different. I even got coffeebaron to redo my wiring in case i was the problem. I hope this clarfies my earlier post.

Saw WOOSH released their new plans today - for $109.95, you get 200G data, plus free NATIONAL CALLS ( free for the first 40 minutes per call)

NZGamingIcon: Today a Telecom sales man came door to door, for just $95 he offered 120gb broadband plan + Land line with call minder, caller ID, call waiting and 6 months free Sky sports. The only reason I did not take the deal yet is because I'm waiting for Vodafone's new plans.

I doubt that since Telecom do not sell Sky Sports yet, although I seem to remember them signing somthing with sky last year.  still seems odd that they woudl launch it with door to door without any other fanfare

Just got this email from Vodafone, im on the Ultimate plan. I'll probably be switching to SNAP.

Great news. As of 13 June 2012, your broadband allowance has been permanently increased from 60GB to 80GB per month at no extra charge! The Double Your Data Add-On you've set up will also increase from 60GB to 80GB. This means you can do more of what you love online - browse the web, watch more TV on demand, stream music, podcasts, blogs and more. With all this extra data, you now have the freedom to go wherever your fingers take you.

Best of all, you don't have to do anything to get it.

This upgrade will be automatically applied to your plan, so just sit back and enjoy the extra value on us!

only 20GB?

John R, you know if this is the big new upgrade?

I haven't got the email yet however if the mere 20G increase is true then I'm definitely off to Snap.

How do you get emails from Vodafone? I'm a customer, yet I don't get any? How do I apply to get these kind of emails? If it's only 20GB, then wtf.. Can go on Orcon $99 gets you 200GB, Free Phone Features and VOIP. With Vodafone it's 100$ for 80GB(If true), + $15 for phone features. RIP OFF.

Already switched to snap, $85 for 155GB naked. No phone contract required so those are gone too.

Same address they send the bill to..

They would have needed to add atleast 40GB to keep me, 20GB im not happy with. with my double data i will now get 160GB, but for a few dollars less per month on snap i can get 255GB and same features.

I suspected i would be moving ISPs soon, so sold my Sure Signal and switched my mobile 2degrees over the weekend.

It better not be! I've held out changing from Orcon just to see what Vodafone are going to offer.

Woh, that's a pretty lame increase and totally not competitive with other ISPs. Personally I do value the good speeds I get on VF and its general reliability and 80 gb a month should be enough for me but I woud have liked to see VF come through a bit more than that.

Don't switch over yet. I've been told that this is not the only thing they will be doing. They will also be bringing new stuff to the Market I heard. So 20GB may not be the only thing happening.

I personally won't be switching since I am not a huge data user but this is still pretty disappointing.
