I surely hope it's not true. Otherwise I'm going to switch ISPs again. Disappointing. I will wait till some official comes out properly though before taking any action. Even telecom beats that cap.

Can you stop suggesting such things, surely you can't seriously think this, and if you are joking people may not actually understand that?

Good enough for me, wish they would chuck in some other sweeteners like caller ID.

Hi..

Yes - we're adding 20GB to the Ideal pack and Ultimate pack as of Wednesday 13 June. This means the Ideal pack goes from 20GB to 40GB and the Ultimate pack goes from 60GB to 80GB. There is no increase in charges. Both Red network and non-Red network connections are eligible.

Note this is only for the clothed services at this stage, that's people who have both fixed line phone and broadband. Ideal naked broadband and Ultimate naked broadband are not being changed just yet.

Keep an eye out for further news soon.

Cheers

Dylan

so from that i get the feeling that this is not the final changes but maybe half of it.. theres more to the whole plan of things im sure..

I have about 20 GBs to use between now and the 14th so all well and good with me if they add another 20 GBs. Been quite happy with Vodafone naked broadband and still am. I have a cellphone on one of their post paid plans so all in all it is cheaper for me all round.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

If this is it, its a huge disappointment to wait from the end of April for this.

Let us hope there is something better in the pipeline.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

The bump-up is, like others have stated, rather underwhelming. However, if VF chooses to offer a higher cap plan, it could remove the need some of us (like myself) have to automatically double the base data every month. That's what I'm hoping for.

So when John? Surly you realise the frustration this is causing your customers. And don't come back and say June, we are nearly half way through the month already. Again quoting your words on 30th April " Very soon"

Because Johnr runs Vodafone communications and sets Vodafones marketing strategy? Come on he's already made it pretty clear he can't say so don't take your frustration out on someone who spends a lot of his own time helping people on these forums.

If he could tell us I'm pretty sure he would.
