Ah man, and here I was thinking that we would be able to play a new game of "my overcharge is bigger than yours!"

Mine was only 2.5GB, but an we normally only burn through 300-500MB/month it was enough to make me go home at lunchtime and look for war drivers!

Good work guys - the internet is probably drained by now :)

On a serious note - if any of you have a direct debit in place with TCL I would be ensuring that they have cancelled any pending amounts as a result of this error.

Thank goodness ours came to only $27 - today's the last day of our billing cycle and chances are it won't be fixed before tomorrow!

I actually did the same thing, we have a wireless router setup and our media pc is usually running all the time. Thought maybe we had done something to start a series of downlaods, even turned off the wireless just in case. I doubt I would have much chance try to recoup the cost of an hours lost time though.

As I understand it, this isn't billing related guys, it is only usage meter related. So no worries about the billing as far I understand it

Today would be an ideal day to download a heap of stuff then blame it on the usage meter...

You have now used 10,759 additional block[s] of usage, on your TelstraClear
HighSpeed Internet plan for the period to 20/05/2007.

Is that 21 TB? I'm on the 40GB plan

Hi, Mauricio!

I was making my accounts here, and for using this amount of bandwidth in one day, Telstraclear must be offering you a broadband connection that runs at the speed of 1.4Gbps !!!! Gee, this is 280 times the maximum connection speed we have here in Israel of 5Mbps.

It surely makes you guys customers of the most advanced ISP in the world. Congratulations !!! Wink

Best regards from your friend,

Helio

As per my last reply, it is only the usage meter that is screwed up, nothing to do with billing, so I wouldnt worry about that part.
