Frosty33: Just signed up to the Naked VDSL Entertain package under the premise that I would get a $30 discount on the VDSL plan for linking my on account mobile to it and an extra $30 for my on account mobile plan. I received my bill for my mobile and there is nothing on there about the credit. I need to check if what I read on here is correct about this offer please as I rang your customer services team today and they were of no assistance at all.

This is not the case at all you don't get $30 off fixed line and mobile plan, It has only ever been a discount on the fixed line plan

John

Thanks for clearing that up. I had some issues with speed prior to switching to VDSL but I believe I have to wait the 10 day period for my router to optimise?

1) rule about doing a speedtest, Do not test over WiFi over Ethernet cable plugged into modem

Yes on VDSL DLM will manage the line first 10 days so speed can change

John

DLM will still run on after that, just at a far slower rate.

Hi Guys
I am wanting to switch to Vodafone VDSL, and I am trying to sign up online.  I am currently with Flip, but cannot locate them on the list of current phone providers, are they listed by another name? Or will I need to contact Vodafone via phone.

kind regards
Mike

Flip is part of Callplus.  So go with that as the choice I think.

Our HG659 has just sh*t itself, keeps rebooting itself after 5 mins (started at about 6pm tonight), at least the guy on the helpdesk didn't muck around with getting another router ordered but means unstable internet till Wednesday.
Did try a factory reset with no luck.

Leave it unplugged or the DLM Goblins will visit.

Prob a good idea since its rebooted like 30 times since 6pm, prob too late

Edit: Can DLM be reset if its kicked in again due to too many reboots?

Yes / No. Mixed results when its reset @hio77 and i have found.

I think from my experiences they all conclude. leave it alone. Don't touch it with a 10ft pole. One person wanted it reset today, 50160 down and 10336 up turned into 32416 down and 9048 up. Reset DLM as it was on DLM-5.

*sigh* just wish Vodafone had fibre offerings with Ultrafast Fibre Ltd, wouldn't need to worry about DLM then
