Commercial as it states: selling bandwidth to third parties or running an Internet Service Provider (but not limited to)

No, but it does STATE "Not limited to" which means potentially any commercial use could be considered a breach so I wanted to clarify.

If you go too strict you would put in "work from home"... This is obviously not something they can limit. I think your backup will be fine.

I'd imagine its one of those cases where they stick the condition in so they can restrict you if you abuse the system. i.e. strictly speaking perhaps you aren't doing something thats within the conditions but if you play nice with others then it'd be ok.

Well my current provider shows special usage (between our two sites) as between 550GB and 1.2TB a month, so I wasn't nitpicking, I was actually being courteous and checking. (All Done between 1am and 7am weekdays and weekends)

Just out of interest, I saw in an earlier thread someone asked about "cable", it didn't appear to be answered.

I am on the ultrafast naked broadband [TelstraClear Cable] with upgraded speed and Mobile phone (VF Red unlimited calling). I think my speed is something like 125/20 odd and data is 100Gb. I see the price point that I am currently paying is the same as the new unlimited - is it possible to get transferred over to this without having to do a re-sign (and get charged un-necessary fees).

Another one of these instances where the whinging of a small minority of users who use far more data than the average and median get their way potentially at the expense of the vast majority in terms of speed and reliability. And what's more, for those who previously were on the entertain package with a limited of 500 gigabytes a month but don't use anywhere near that (we average around 200 a month) you get to be "upgraded" to a policy with p2p traffic shaping with unlimited data that you don't need/don't care for.

What he is saying, and others is that people on 500GB with no traffic management now get unlimited WITH traffic management. They don't use more than 500GB and don't want traffic management, so in that case they're losing.

VF is saying the 500GB Plan has the same traffic management already so it's no different, they are just being clearer about the traffic management being present if I am reading it properly.
