@Dawg, where are you and why it isn't going to work for you? What did the technician say?

Im getting 2 T-Boxes installed on Wednesday. This might be a silly question but will they provide extra HDMI & SPDIF cables or should I arrange my own?

Each T-Box comes with HDMI cable and RCA, but they took away my RCA cable though :-/

You'll get new modem SB5101U which has no stand-by button at the top as the T-Box will not work if the modem is on standby (hence the removal, for just in case someone turn it off).

I didn't measure the length of the included HDMI cable though.

Ours is coming on Wednesday. It's sure to be a huge step up from the analogue decoder that's been getting worse and worse quality wise for a long time, not to mention TC turning off the program guide etc.

It's a shame they don't have more of a thank you to the people who have been waiting 3 years for this to come. Especially as sky is doing free sports channel at the moment.

I think the included HDMI cable is 1.5m? It's not very short but it's not too long too. Just right...

Just got a call from the installers to confirm tomorrow's appointment - they knew nothing about the standdown so who knows if I'll get installed tomorrow or not! Undecided

Hi Guys,

Just to confirm that all installations are going ahead as per booked.

Due to high media coverage and demand we have been working with our provisioning systems to make sure that all installs are covered in an efficient manner.

All installs are go!

So is it just account issues with my setup or what - Guess I will find out more when I finish work and return home - to see if it magically now works.

I did get a free install and 6 months free HD ticket - I thought that wasn't a badd offer - Yes it could of been better but hey not complaining.
