ChristineNZL: Can someone tell me when the first T-Boxes were installed?
That's very funny, reading that 2010 intro from TC again now! Failure rate seems to be getting more frequent, not less. Last night, turned the TV on for the first time that day and blank screen, reboot required. Today we watched a recorded programme and and after that, back to live TV. Just went back into the lounge and found guess what, blank screen PLUS something I have never struck before. The ON button on the T box which is always left on and is surrounded by a blue light had without any human input switched to red light (off!!!) mode while the recording light was also still happily glowing red (it was supposed to be recording the news).
wekanz: In my experience, it isn't easy to find this forum, anyway, rwnz. In fact, I can't remember now how I stumbled across it. I do remember feeling quite relieved to find there were others with the same problems I was encountering. I imagine that for every one on here, there are many others who have never found this forum. There should be one like this on the TCL site, imho.
RobertT: Perhaps a link on the Fairgo website would gather more information and hits?

Absolutely agree. Which is why I've asked TelstaClear to send a link to a questionnaire for people to report their experience.
I've also started a Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/groups/TelstraTBox/ ) and frequently post links on it to this site.

mattwnz: Why don't people just vote with their feet, if they are having problems. There are alternatives. Tivo for freeview, and mysky for paytv.

Probably would be good idea to rename the group to "TelstraClear T-Box" as that's the proper company/brand title - in case people get confused with "Telstra (Australia)" or "TelstraClear (New Zealand)".
