riahon: What I find interesting is that in the last 3 pages of this thread there seems to be a lack of attendance from the OP VF official voice. I would be interested to know whether this is deliberate as things have gotten a little hot here. Of all places this is where VF should make a stand, either make allowances (surely it would be in their best interest in the future) or stop this arguement right here by saying - it aint going to happen, get over it.
On a general note, both major mobile companies seem content to let churn happen as long as it appears to be even. I have no idea what the numbers are but I am going to guess that the flow both ways is even. If this is correct then surely VF should be doing a bit more to keep customers that are loyal to GSM not VF.

riahon: I only skimmed read posts but from that what the arguement here is whether VF should hold you to a contract in light of the new plans launched. Legally they probably have every right to.
What I think those here that feel hard done by are wanting is some sort of goodwill from VF for their loyalty. Without looking at the impact financially to the company I am going to guess that if they allow those on existing contracts to move to the new plans without penalty then they would be losing money, it's the only explanation.
If this is the case then what they are doing is securing a limited income from these customers as I am sure a percentage will leave at the first opportunity and it appears that when TC get their GSM network operational many will move. I read that some are willing to sign up to another 12months on their contracts just to get to the new plans, this seems a reasonable compromise.

xlinknz: let me get this right
to get bestmate on account I will require to convert from get70 to you choose which means a minimum of a 12 month contract and spending a minimum of $40 ie double what I do now ?

cjs6793968: So i'm on You Choose and I want to add 1 BM
What I find really annoying is that I log in to VF and my current OA info doesn't show what I currently have, of course I know what I should have, but I can't see it online anywhere - yet I used to be able to all in one place - and now i'm supposed to know what services I want to remove and it tells me "Please make sure you are only removing Add Ons which you currently have on your plan." -> Surely this could be smarter, I could've sworn this used to be alot more user friendly?
OT: I'm also finding that I can't find my current txt600 bundle balance online or via txt, I can only find it via phone???
ninjabear: AND IT HASN"T BEEN SHOWING UP EVER SINCE THE VODAFONE UPGRADE!WRECKED EVERYTHING AFTER THE UPGRADE
