Got my invoice a few days ago, thought someone would post about it by now. Our invoices say what they are waiting for before revising pricing. Go on, have a read...

For those that have not read/received their invoices yet, they are waiting for the Crown Fibre Holdings contracts to be signed before finalising voice/internet bundles, and in the mean time developing services for the new network. This relates to fibre, but combining with what their staff said in this thread it includes copper voice/internet bundles.

Yes we are looking at Fusion over Fibre also :)

Don't want to disappoint people when the new plans are released.

While the FTTH pricing is being looked at it may be released after the ADSL offerings.  So this one may not make the before Christmas deadline but should easily come in during the first quarter of 2012.

Just wondering about FTTH. I've got dark Telecom fibre running past my house in Pakuranga, East Auckland from the project they abandoned maybe 8 years ago. Would XNet FTTH offerings include lighting up the dark fibre, or is it just for new developments?

So the updated ADSL plans will still be out before Christmas?

Nothing in the pipeline that I'm aware of for Dark Fibre although I'm guessing that will be utilised for the UFB rollout.  Our FTTH product is only available in those new development area's.

I see you prefer to disappoint us right now. Any way thank you that you are honest with us.

OK - so Im about to pull the trigger on the Vodafone $65 for 60GB deal and ditch fusion purely due to cost. The monthly numbers stack up as follows
60GB = $65 so long as you or your employer pays for an on account mobile (tick)
VFX line = $11.25
Supercap $19.95

Total is under $100 per month, my current fusion bills are between $140 and $150 for less than 20GB of peak and about 20Gb of off peak (torrent plan)

Before flicking the switch, does anyone have any other recommendations or have I missed something?... (or WxC - will your new rates result in a similar saving for me?) Im quite happy with the VFX service, but costs for data on WxC are not moving downward with the times & other ISPs. I want to watch youtube and download software updates, movie trailers and AppleTV movies anytime of the day, not just during off peak!
