Cable has been up and down since before 10am today for all customers. The status page was not updated until 11:15am.

Earlier today the connection itself was dead. Because the status page was not listing any problem I spent 30 minutes restarting modem, router, plugging laptop directly to modem, etc. Waste of time.

Anyway, since coming back it seems connection itself is still ok but perhaps their proxy farm is playing up again. I say that because I can access a VPN service and I am currently posting this through the VPN - but I can't access anything on a browser directly through their network.

Now I am back at using it without my VPN. It seems they have reset something.
