Hi all
Was on the Vodafone site a week ago, where I was deciding which package I want to upgrade to.
Decided on:
Phone                                 $39.95
Broadband Ultrafast 150GB    $95.95
Clicked the "I want this package" icon...entered my contact details...told a service person will contact me in two working days.
Not heard anything as yet....I'm not getting frustrated or anything like that,  just asking anyone in the know....do these requests get answered or am I better of phoning them direct?

Have you called and asked if the plan has changed over?

My general experience with Vodafone is that no matter what they say they will not make contact when they say the will, it is up to you as a customer to hound them in order to get the info you require.

Why would I phone? The site actually lets you submit the request without being logged into your account (which I was not)... so I would be a total stranger. But it still asked your for contact details, phone number, best time of day to be contacted etc etc.
Surely a call back to verify any customer (or potential customer) info would be in order and then proceed from there.
I love what I have (cable in Chch since 2004).....just want to give VF more of my money (by increasing my bandwidth from 60gb to 150gb)....but is it that easy?
Not had any issues with my VF mobile phone account (NZ and UK) only massively positive things with that.

Surely an upgrade without notification would be worse than no contact at all.

Agreed however if a customer provides an incorrect contact email address on their account then VF sends the notification and the naturally the customer doesn't get it.

Sounds like the person just filled a general enquiry form however as they were not logged into their account.

Please note: I have a professional bias towards Vodafone.
