I am on Vodafone cable to the house and using a wifi router, i just bought a Acer C720 Chromebook to replace one of my old laptops.
My router is set to use vodafones DNS servers as i read somewhere here they would be fastest, i ran the Chrome Connectivity Diagnosis app and it came back saying the DNS servers took too long to respond, i then set the Chromebook's DNS to Google's and instantly the pages started loading faster.

I have no idea why this would be, could it be that vodafones DNS server is very slow ? has anyone else noticed this ?
