I don't know what else I can say, except that Vodafone's support is totally unacceptable.

Tonight I have sat waiting for technical support/fault in regards to my Vodafone TV (which has been out since early this morning) and after 122 minutes of hold music, I get a recorded message saying 'Please ring back later' and a hang up.

Suffice to say that I'm very angry about this and for the first time since I joined Vodafone, I'm seriously thinking it is time I move away...

Does anyone else thing Vodafone's support is a poor shadow of what Telstra used to offer?

Marcus

Yes, that is unacceptable. But the extreme examples I've seen don't seem to be much different to what I remember happened with Telstra Clear. I used to be cutoff at various times between one and two hours.

Vodafone phone support has improved for me in the last year or so.

When I worked at TCL Faults (I left in 2005) there were wait times, yes. But two hours? I don't ever recall anyone waiting that long to get through to Faults.
Customer services on the other hand...their wait times were quite shocking. Probably even worse now.

Thank you John for the reply.

The issue is continuing. My TV Modem is not connecting to the cable service. It is the older Motorola  modem and currently I've only got solid green 'Power' and 'Receive' lights with 'Send' flashing and 'Online' unlit.

I've completed the power down and up cycle with no luck or change. Oddly my Internet seems to be working fine...

I would appreciate any help, especially as it has now been down for 24 hours*.

*Especially given that I missed the kick off of Super Rugby last night and the Cricket starts today.
