After a recent reboot, my ADSL router has been allocated an IP address in the range 47.72.200.0 and now Google (at least) thinks I'm in Indonesia.  Is there a way via my EchoLife HG556a that I can release the lease and get a good old-fashioned 202-ish address?

Why does it matter? It shouldn't impact your performance in any way. It's just Google's IP geo data is wrong.

Shows ok here - https://geoiptool.com/en/?ip=47.72.200.0

As mentioned, just be Googles geolocation database needs an update.
