Hey guys,

I've recently aquired a Vodem from Vodafone in exchange for a cake (no, seriously) and am wondering if I would be able to insert a sim card that is on an iPhone data plan and use that? I know that it probably will only work on vodafones iPhone APN but I should just be able to change it to that?

Has anyone tested this?

Oh, the reason i'm asking is that I am going to be getting the $40 iPhone plan for my iPhone soon and don't really want to pay for two different plans for my iPhone and Vodem. Doesn't really look like vodafone is going to let the netshare app into the app store any time soon, so iPhone+Vodem is my only option...

TIP if you have a vodem I would make sure its on the latest firmware/software

Make sure both files are run take about 8 min each this needs to be done on XP/Vista once updated remove the old Vodafone software off the machine if PC based
