Oblivian: Watch the tvnz hate after tonight. Seven sharp doing a focus on those against, and what's behind it.
Watched it because I was ironing some shirts... "Focus" is being nice.

Ahh yes. They talked it up in the promo that alerted me to it. And let me down in the delivery.
Journeyman:Oh! I'd forgotten about Orgonite! One of the biggest loads of BS when it comes to magical healing substances, Orgonite is just resin with added metal shavings and quartz! 😁
So the linked page says:
My name is Karin, and I've been making orgonite since 2012. I make healing orgonite pyramids, pendants and more in my home country Zambia, and ship them worldwide
Seems a bit fishy to me, shouldn't it be:
My name is Ndidi, sister of a deposed Nigerian prince, and I've been making orgonite since 2012. I make healing orgonite pyramids, pendants and more in my home country Nigeria, and ship them worldwide

Did they? They basically pointed out that all the conspiracy stuff is silly, and even the presenters weren't taking it seriously. Not much of a story, but then what were you expecting?
The GDI also have some other interesting reports for people interested in this sort of thing.
Saw some anti 5G meeting crap stuck on a billboard in Birkenhead. I was tempted to pull them down and just throw them in the bin. They won't stop anything.
I saw someone in one of our local Facebook groups try to drum up support for the anti-5G event in Wellington, plenty of offers of Tinfoil I must say. But the comment I saw which summed up the lack of education was "5G is mmWave", no research it seems into how both Vodafone and Spark are rolling it out

"Do your research"
Translation:
I've spent too many dark nights reading blogs (scaremonger) already. And it was bad. The big science words scared me. Your big science words can't change that. I've read enough.

I have a friend who's a conspiracy theorist, and who doesn't trust the MSM because "they lie to you". Their sources of information on various things in the world are:
Ukraine: Russia Today.
Syria: PressTV (in case that's not a familiar name, it's the news service of the Islamic Republic of Iran).
Africa: White supremacist web sites.
Europe: Not sure, but seems to be Twitter and Fox News.
They literally go to the worst possible sources of information for whatever they want to find out about, apart from the Europe bit I simply cannot think of a worse, less reliable source of information on a subject than the ones above. What's really distressing is that, because they believe the MSM lies to them, they instead turn to media sources that are in several cases specifically set up to lie to them, and then believe those.
In other words, you're never going to get anywhere trying to debate conspiracy theorists. What you need to target instead is the people who might be swayed by the conspiracy theorists' arguments. So aim past the conspiracy theorists, they're a lost cause, and instead talk to their intended audience.
Wait, are you saying you think Fox News is a reliable news source?
