I have switched to WXC because I cannot get Italk to work , it was working for years perfectly, some changes a couple a months ago..a you guys worked it out.. then couple of weeks ago - Italk crapped out again, no changes to my set up at all.

Got the "pip" and put in 2 talk and it worked perfectly.. so I decided to try WXC as everyone said they were more professional.. well I cannot get WXC to ring my IVR , in fact if i ring the number I get NU Tone, I can make outgoing calls to 0800 and my mobile without issue, I used the settings below and they work for OG not IC, oddly enough the same problem as Italk.

The forums I read said "add in port forwarding on the router" - done - no change

I can asterisk -vrrrr and see the outgoing call, if i make a call from my mobile to 09950xxxx I get NU Tone..

Any ideas..

type=peer
fromuser=9950xxxx ; this is your VFX Number without the leading 0 i.e. 9950XXXX
host=pan.wxnz.net
insecure=invite,port
canreinvite=no
nat=yes
secret=xxxxxx
username=xxxxx

9950xxx:XXXX:XXXX@pan.wxnz.net/9950xxxx

Hi Paul,

Yes I see the problem, you have a SIP ALG problem with your SRP, basically the SRP is intercepting port 5060 before it gets to your asterisk box, so the call is going to you but the SRP is replying with a 404

2 things, in the SRP , goto Network Setup, NAT , then NAT Setting toggle the SIP ALG and see if that helps, otherwise you could change the port to something like 5062, 5063 etc

You should not under any circumstances have any port forward set to an Asterisk box unless you fully understand the security risks of doing so.. And anybody who understands the security risks won't have any port forwards set!

You need to disable the ATA's on the SRP527 as well as disabling the SIP ALG.
