billgates: Went and bought a Surface 2 + Type Cover 2 Purple (backorder) for $739 all up today. Not going to open it as I did not get WAF. Going to sell stuff that I am not using in the house, get the money and then justify the purchase and open it. Should work.

What happens if you don't get enought for your stuff on trade me? just keep selling off :) (Just open it, enjoy it!)

Have opened it now. It's lighter and thinner compared to Surface RT. 225GB SkyDrive storage + 1 year unlimited world Skype calling to many landlines and mobiles redeemed too. Front camera is really good. Performance is much faster than my current Surface RT. USB 3.0 port is a bonus as well.

Awaiting the Type Cover 2 now to complete the experience.

Do whatever you want to do man.

I'm saving my code, not sure how fun uploading 200GB of PSDs over ADSL would be ha, would be good for basic doc sync across PCs though

freitasm: Sorry, what do you mean? How to reproduce it please?

Realised it was only happening when IE 11 was in a suspended state, so when you reopen the app, it reloads the page, then it kind of just starts not recognising key presses about 50% of time, It may not even be unique to your editor I was just noticing it when trying to type a reply.

I didn't look too deeply into it, will keep my eye on it.

On another note, keep getting hardware/firmware updates that don't include details, would be great if I know what all these several 100kb updates were for.

You are right. Just tested and it is not working in the IE11 Modern UI.

Just open any Geekzone thread, click [Compose Reply] and the rich text editor will never get the focus so can't type anything.

It works in IE11 launched from the desktop though.

Nathan, can you reproduce this?

Actually just updated Tinymce to its latest version and reloaded CDN. It seems to be working now...

Might pick up a Wacom Bamboo Feel pen, to replace the one that came with the tablet, supposedly it is a lot more accurate and the cursor doesn't hide under the pen tip like the Surface pen.

Actually found out there is a far better pen available, which is the UP-817e, which was made for the PL series Wacom display tablets.

Emailed Elive to see if they can get it in stock, since they seem to be the only store that can source it.  Hopefully! Since they have it for a lot cheaper than any other international store.
