The 2nd insider preview (10.0.22000.65) has been released. has a myriad of fixes. Most importantly for me - the taskbar on multiple monitors!

If the Boot Method is currently "Legacy" can it be changed to "UEFI" without breaking everything?
(presuming UEFI is supported)

DiskPartition Type : changing to GPT
Secure Boot : enabling
Oblivion posted a good how-to article.
I converted my C: drive (had a new image of course!) but I got a layout error after the /validate phase. I found that the disk could not have more than three partitions. Mine had some extra recovery partitions so I deleted a couple. All went well after this.
My 2017 PC with TPM2 and i7-7700k CPU failed the Win 11 PC health test.
Tried a VMware Player installation of Win 11 22000.65 but it was very sluggish.... also I was getting very low on Win 10 Pro system SSD space.
Added another 240GB SSD and decided to try a full installation of Win 11 Pro 22000.71 from a USB drive. Dual booted without problem.
Followed this Tom's Hardware guide for getting a copy of Win 11 ISO and creating bootable USB installation drive:

Early days but seems to run without problem. Very responsive.
Logged in with Microsoft account and found that my Win 11 Pro was activated.
One issue I have is no Internet Explorer to have a look and configure my Dahua security cameras. No Google Chrome IE extensions either.

My first ever AM radio network connection was with a 1MHz AM crystal(OA91) radio receiver.

Edge is no good... there is no IE support in Windows 11. No Chrome IE extension either.
I am now using Dahua SmartPSS with Win11 to configure and look at my cameras.

Edge's "IE mode" is apparently still available in Windows 11.

Oops.... Missed that...
Microsoft Edge with Internet Explorer mode offers built-in legacy browser support and is officially replacing the
Internet Explorer 11 desktop application, which will be retired and go out of support on June 15, 2022
Now that I have found Dahua SmartPSS for my cameras I might give IE a miss from now on.

I checked the CPU requirements for Windows 11...
Two of my computers have CPUs that do not appear on the list.
i7-7700k
and
i7-7500u
I have successfully installed Win11 22000.71 on both machines which have these CPUs.

Some motherboards that support AMD CPUs have fTPM. An implemented version of TPM which you normally have to enable in BIOS. (I assume the f stands for fake :) )
I have this on my Gigabyte B550, Once turned on in BIOS, Windows 11 installed no problem.

Anyone notice Defender needs the Virus and Threat Protection feature to be turned on every time you reboot?

Yes I have to do that too.
Has anyone noticed the date on the toolbar is in American format, everything else is in NZ format.
