Is there a quick way to go to the Fast Ring, from what I can see one has to start on the Slow ring with build 10130, I would like to go straight to build 10159?

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

I had my laptop off until last night and I had a 3 generation old version of the fast ring (can't recall which one) and it put 10159 on in a single step. I think it installs the latest available in the ring you have selected.

networkn: What is the point of MS releasing 3 BUILDS in 1 WEEK? Who would have time to install 3? Let alone test and provide quality feedback on them?

builds come out every week day

so normally at least 5 a week

these ones we are releasing are all very high quality

I'm not sure why it is taking you so much time to install them.
My PC downloads and installs them around 3AM every night, and I logon to my PC when I getup about 530AM and its there

at this point people are using Windows 10 as their daily driver so are providing feedback on if we fixed things they told us about

Do builds install even if it's a tablet and sleeping? As in will the update wake up a tablet for the install?

I was fast ring but rolled back to Win 8.1 due to issues with the AMD cards. But when if go to install now it only selects the current Slow ring build.

Anyone tried to upgrade from an older release like 9926 to a recent one? May give it a shot, but I'll be keeping an OS image in case it goes belly up.

10162 is taking a very long time to download for me. The last 2 were pretty quick, but 10162....   According to task manage it was initially going at 27Mbps for a long time (over an hour) but still showed 0% progress on the update screen.  Then I came back later and it showed 10Mbps down and had done 37%.  Weirdly it has now dropped to downloading at around 200Kbps but is showing solid uploads at 10Mbps and seems to be stuck at 41%... Think it's been going for over 2 hours now.

That occurred a few builds back when the download brought down all the language Packs, it was a pain as it took an eternity

I use IE as my default browser, Chrome and Firefox are horrible these days.

If it can't be installed, Windows 10 rolls back

10162 will (should) go to Slow Ring early next week which means official ISOs will be available, otherwise you can convert the ESD file as others have mentioned

I had rolled back to 8.1 due to the issues Win 10 had with AMD GPU's so I am currently on 8.1

What's the latest ISO available? Is it worth upgrading to? Auto update is borked.

I haven't read anything about ESD file conversion - can you give me a bit more info? If I'm going to bother upgrading it'd be good to be on the latest stable release.
