MikeB4:networkn:timmmay: Having both control panel and settings is crazy. Control panel works well, they should keep it. Providing an interface for common consumer tasks may be helpful.
I installed the latest build as my old install wouldn't upgrade. I'll slowly migrate over to it over the next week. It looks significantly more polished.
I agree. 1 Place for all settings has worked really well for years.
I am to the contrary the settings menu gives an easy access to the main settings most users require and appeals to the consumer user especially. Control panel is messy.
Interestingly, having supported consumers all through the W8 introduction, not a single one commented the same. They all felt it was a considerably worse setup. Each to their own I guess.
