I've paused all updates on my SB2 for the time being! Let the dust settle and other early adopters find the issues; sorry its my main device, I need it to work for work!
The little things make the biggest difference.
I loaded this on 2nd May on both laptop and desktop and have had
No screen freezing.
No unexplained shutdowns.
No high CPU usage from Windows module installer running .
I do have a problem of winaero 2 not loading with both Norton and Defender blocking it as dangerous so probably not a windows problem.
All in all probably the best windows 10 version to date.
Updated my home desktop last week, and had a couple of BSOD's afterwards for the first time ever.
One was to do with some nvidia dll, so I've updated my graphics driver. It seems to have become stable since.
I thought I had disabled updates after the last debacle when my connectivity got fried, but the April "Creators Update" has just installed itself without warning or asking me first.
And now I have no sound. The trouble shooter just tells me that the speakers are unplugged. They aren't. Drivers are up to date.
I guess yet another roll-back, to remove something I never wanted in the first place.
I literally hate Microsoft at this point.

I've just administered to a colleague's laptop that did exactly that …. I uninstalled the audio drivers (in Device Manager), ran CCleaner, then cold/hard re-booted twice in a row.
Sound through speakers was back after that.
Just updated daughter's old Asus VivoTab thing (no keyboard anymore), slightly problematic because it needed more memory, but the single usb port is the charger too. So I charged it right up, then gave it a 32 GB usb, and let it rip overnight, fingers crossed. This morning it was off (worry), so I recharged it fully, reattached the 32 GB usb, and booted it. Lo, 1803, and all working very well! Bloody marvellous.

Warm glow when that happens ![]()
How can I check if I have the update? My computer updated the other day don't know if that was it though.

Run winver and check if version is 1803.

@zepanda66 you may need to manually check for the update via the Settings app.

Been getting a heap of people troubled by 'no space' error messages …. 99.9% of them had bought those laptops with just 32GB SSD storage!
Has the handling of NAS drives changed with this release?
I have a MyCloud single disk NAS that works fine and maps all shares without problem, but an EX2Ultra only registers as a storage disk and won't allow me any shares to be mapped, when they were easily accessible.
