Hi folks

Just getting an issue on upgrading a 32 bit win 7 pro machine. The installer has downloaded the S/w (100% complete) and then switched to Checking for updates. After 8 hours it made no progress and was restarted. 2nd attempt it has been 4 hours now hanging in the same place.

Does anyone have any ideas on a potential work-a-round?

was using the microsoft app/tool to do the update?
