I have a couple of MBP which I back up using TimeMachine to a MyCloud EX2. I had the bright idea of then backing up the TimeMachine files online. Although the files are quite large (500GB +) and seem to be causing issues with both available options. S3 and Elephant Drive.

I'm starting to think that backing up TimeMachine online isn't really feasible and perhaps not even necessary.

The problem could be the MyCloud EX2 although I'm curious to now if others backup their TimeMachine's and if so how?

No you can't backup Time machine backups to the cloud, not continuously at least.

You could do it as a one off but if you then wanted to do it again the whole lot would need to be backed up to the cloud again.
