I think I can count on one hand how many hoodies I've owned in my life, it's not my usual style.

But now wanting to buy a couple - anyone have a good line on some good quality, reasonably priced hoodies, preferably in store, but online fine too?

I just saw some for $200 and just about died. Also not too keen on buying from Cotton on or Hallensteins - their quality, styling (prints etc.) and some business practices are not my thing if I can avoid.

I've got a few but they're all band/TV show branded ones, all good quality though and keep me warm :)

Very happy with the weight (heavy) of my Superdry, however I only buy when it's heavily reduced or clearance. My only dislike is the plastic print is coming off one making it look very tatty, despite the fabric being in very good condition.

Most versatile I have are a discontinued Macpac line. (wish I had got 3 now).

I left one somewhere and someone else decided it was better to keep than hand it in. So now wearing the 'backup' black and grey. But Merino, so good as a top, or a mid layer

Warmest/snugly one is a non branded plain dickies (thicker fleece than cheaper import material)

Connor also do an 'asher' line. Like hallensteins but less skatepark if you want plain.

I have one of their more premium styled ones also (high collar, removable hood). look flash, but not very thick.

Along the same line - I'm trying to locate some new tracksuit pants to replace my old tired ones from Hallensteins. Sadly they don't make that style anymore and the new ones they have are the tight style (as in hug-your-legs) which is not what I'm looking for. I think the term I'm looking for is shell tracksuit pants, but I'm damned if I can find them anywhere. Kmart had some Everlast ones but they're no longer available (listed on this page as "Everlast Mens Active Shell Trackpant"). I guess I want cargo pants ideally, as they have the pockets on the side which I find very useful.

Anyone know what I'm talking about or seen them around?

Thanks but they don't seem to have what I'm looking for. I guess I'll try Hallensteins again, or maybe Farmers.

Edit: this is possibly close to what I'm looking for (although I would want to see these in person first): https://nz.boohoo.com/regular-fit-official-man-tricot-tape-joggers/BMM10636.html?color=105

If it had a zip at the bottom sides of each leg, it would be perfect! 😀

I have a couple of AS Colour ones which are OK, but not overly warm.

My favourite, that I more or less live in these days is one I got from Torpedo 7 on sale: Not sure you can even get them anymore, but it is Merino, fairly thin, relatively lightweight for what it is and really warm & comfortable.

Closest I have seen to something similar is an Icebreaker one that's over $200 on sale.

Similar to, but not the same as: https://www.torpedo7.co.nz/products/CUMRHCYR6AA/title/men-s-traverse-midi-full-zip-hood
